Remembering that time back in 2012 when I saw Daniel Johnston play before the opening of his solo art show in Nashville. Afterward, I was lucky enough to meet both Daniel and fellow lo-fi rock legend R. Stevie Moore (also a member of the audience). While a Kodak disposable camera probably would have been more apporpriate for portraits of the godfathers of lo-fi recording, the ones I snapped with my iPhone (via Hipstamatic app) turned out pretty alright. Wouldn’t change a thing about them.
